Teaching of Chinese as a foreign language is a second language education, it is a integral process including the system design, the teaching material compilation, the classroom instruction and the language test . This article start from the language test of HSK, Through the new and old HSK contrastive analysis, it had reflected some attention, in the"Chinese fever"under backgroud , that is the tendencies and change in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language . It sort the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and reveal some of the shortcomings in the classroom teaching and the status of HSK being not taken seriously. On the basis of former's research of foreign Chinese culture teaching, it discussed the contest of different stage and some teaching issues of foreign Chinese culture teaching and emphasized the cross-cultural communication abilities in the process of foreign language teaching. We should enhance the whole abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing on the basis of cross-cultural communication competence and improve the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language level on the basis of popularity of Chinese. Finally, from the angle that language is an important cultural resource for the national, it discusses that teaching Chinese as a foreign language should pay more attention to the overseas Chinese teaching and promote the development of it and expand the scale of HSK and the influence of Chinese culture to promote the world understanding of China.
