Since reform and opening, China's economy has maintained rapid development, it has been witnessing a higher and higher rate of urbanization and the tendency that people centralize in urban cities which has long before undoubtedly revealed itself. In the process, a serious shortage of urban public facilities is difficult to guarantee people's quality of life; some of the old cities are gradually disappearing as urban development and even become cancer, thus bringing many hidden problems to a harmonious social order. How to make these old cities with renewed vigor and vitality has become an issue looked into by government and people of insight, and the system is to facilitate urban renewal and development of urban growth in this renewable energy so that bring the city function back to life, and recreate the power of further growth and development. The so-called "Stones from other hills, can learn" to other countries and regions, the related information of investigation and solutions will inevitably bring great benefits to us, the experience of Taiwan is the most instructive and reference valuable. Not only because Taiwan and the mainland belong to China, but also because both sides in the cultural thinking and a pulse on the composition of symbiosis.Therefore, this article is especially dedicated to one of Taiwan's Taipei landmark urban renewal system for conducting research, and longitudinally, the updated course throughout Taipei City is divided into three major periods—the Government's initiative for urban renewal, incentives for private investment and public-private partnerships, horizontally from the theoretical basis for evolution, establishment of system to savor the angle of comb, and then from law systems, strategies and implementation mechanisms to promote the comparative measure of three aspects, for gains and losses and in the process trying to find some universal conclusions, to the old city on the mainland of China has caused some transformation of positive inspiration, it can better meet the needs of urban development and the people, to improve the city environment, enhance urban functions and create high-quality urban environment purposes.
