Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Urban Renewal In Shanghai

The different stages of urban development are connected by urban renewal.From the initial relocation to housing resettlement and monetized compensation simultaneously to urban renewal,the factors that promote urban renewal are gradually increasing,and the radiation range is becoming wider and wider.At present,land resources are framed within a certain range.How to achieve the new target of urban development to make most cities break through the traditional incremental model in the limited land resources becomes a big problem.This paper explores the issue of urban renewal,and takes the North Bund Street in Hongkou District of Shanghai as an example to probe into the problems in urban renewal and put forward strategies.The article uses the literature method,case analysis method and other research methods to conduct in-depth research on this issue.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part expounds the background,purpose and significance of the research.The second part discusses the domestic and foreign literatures and related concept theories.The third part summarizes the urban renewal process and policy evolution in Shanghai.The fourth part takes the urban renewal of North Bund Street in Hongkou District as an example to further demonstrate the problems.The fifth part analyzes the urban renewal situation at home and abroad.Finally,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for urban renewal in Shanghail.It is hoped that the research in this paper can promote the urban renewal in Shanghai and provide some reference for other cities.
