Government portal as "online administration" of all governments on the Internet platformof information services, transaction services, government public interaction in the governmentinformation, government online business services, and government interaction with the publicand to improve the relationship between government and the public play an important role.Government portal is not only an important part of e-government, but also an importantplatform for administrative services, and plays a very important role on the implementationand development of e-government.At present, our government portal construction has made great achievements, but ourgovernment portal is greatly weak than the level of service with leading countries. Ourgovernment portal cannot serve the public well overall. Information services are still themain function of the government portal, both transaction services and interaction betweengovernment and public are relatively weak. So our government portal is greatly weak than thelevel of service with leading countries. On Information services: information services are stillthe main function of the government portal, but information resources is so deficient , and solittle information can be used , the way to provide information is so single, informationservices should be improved; on transaction services: the scope of services is too narrow,service level is too low and the results of an open transaction is not high, so it can noteffectively meet the needs of public. On the interaction between government and public: theimportance of the interactive features of the government is low, and the degree of politicalinteraction between government and public, result in the interaction between government andpublic become the weak link of government services.Firstly, I analysis the current situation of our Government portal, and point the currentconstruction achievements of our government portal, and analyze objectively the problems ofcurrent services function. And then I study on the specific problems of government portalinformation services, affair services and interaction between government and public.Besides, I proposed some specific measures to promote services function of governmentportal. Improve information services in the proposed expansion of the scope of informationresources, and tap the depth of information services, and improve the information provided ina way measures; in improving the transaction services, the proposed construction of"one-stop" guide, the expansion of service issues, provide in-depth services service, timelydisclosure, the results suggested; in the political aspects of public interaction to increasepublic participation for the proposed expansion of interaction channels, improve theinteraction mechanism, the depth of the construction of interactive mining views. The resultshave great significance for government portal promoting services and the government portal website construction.
