A Study Of The Interest Expression Of Vulnerable Groups In The Current Context

Our Reform and opening has lasted more than three decades, China has undergone earth-shaking changes, GDP growing rapidly, and the comprehensive national strength being rapidly improved, China has got the respect and recognition from other nations. But behind this aura, there is a problem which will influence China's long-term stability and prosperity. It is the "social vulnerable group" problem. In the process of reform and opening, because of the economic system transition, adjustment of industrial structure and changing of interest distribution scheme, part of the social members joined into-the social vulnerable groups. The disadvantaged groups have being fight for their interests from then on, but the inherent deficiency of our political system and the weak political participation ability of vulnerable groups make their dream can't come true. In government's decision-making process, their interest appeals often can't be effectively responded, which leading to a social resource allocation imbalance of a nation, which is further intensifying the marginalization of the vulnerable groups. Vulnerable groups-problems will directly influence the direction of Modernization, and affects the construction of the socialist harmonious society.This article analyses the interests expression of vulnerable groups, hoped the vulnerable groups'active interest expression can change the unbalanced situation of society resource allocation, which will come to be a way for vulnerable groups getting out of the predicament. This paper is divided into three parts:the first part defines the "social vulnerable groups" and "interest expression" and analyzes the significance of vulnerable groups' interest expression. The second part analyzes in depth the main problems and reasons of vulnerable groups'interests expression. The third part analyzes the ways of improving the efficiency of vulnerable groups'interest expression.
