| As a strong province in sports, Liaoning has got outstanding achievements in competitive sports. Table tennis has flourished here for many years, which fostered and conveyed many batches of excellent athletes of table tennis, for example, Malin, Malong, Wangnan, Guoyue and so on have won Olympic champion and world champion for many times. As a career in sports, table tennis of Liaoning is successful, due to the implementation of nationwide system under the condition of planned economy. However, under the condition of market economy, the development of table tennis sports as an industry, it should be said, has just started, and also have many problems. By means of Document-data Method, questionnaires, interviews, mathematical statistics, this article studies the industrialized development of table tennis, such as city fitness industry of table tennis, supplies industry of table tennis, competitive performance industry of table tennis, training industry of table tennis and so on in Liaoning's five cities, Shenyang, Dalian, Anshan, Jinzhou, Fushun, and analyzes the factors that hinder the industrialization operation of table tennis industry, and finally puts forward some countermeasures of industrialized development. This research reaches the following conclusions:1. The thirty table tennis fitness clubs in Liaoning's five cities, all have members joined, regardless of gender, age, occupation, and income, and a broad mass base, which shows that people's awareness of table tennis fitness is improving. But most people, who take part in table tennis sports, choose table tennis fitness club mainly according to hardware conditions, price levels and operating mode. According to the survey, it is found that 76% of members in those thirty table tennis fitness clubs are satisfied or relatively satisfied with the venues and facilities, and 59.5% of the members are dissatisfied with the expenses standard of the club. In addition, the majority of people think that the club lack advanced operating concepts.2. According to the interviews to the ten agents of table tennis supplies, it is learned that table tennis supplies experience a dull sale, compared with badminton and tennis. The main reason is due to the lack of local sports brand of table tennis, which causes the high price of table tennis supplies, occupying 34%; Secondly, it is due to the weak health concept, accounted for 32 %; and then it is also due to people's low purchasing power, accounted for 27%; and the last is the poor credibility of table tennis supplies, accounted for only 7%.3. Except that it tied for the third place nationwide in 2006, the scores of Jinzhou bank table tennis club in Liaoning were in the downstream for the other years; the scores of Liaoning Angang table tennis club had always been good, which had won the second place in the national table tennis super league twice, and a third place once, which had a close relationship with the emergence of world champions, Wangnan, Guoyue, etc. We find that the technology level of table tennis sports of Liaoning is very high, but the market competitive performance has slumped, and has been badly managed.4. The training ability of trainers in the thirty table tennis clubs of fitness of Liaoning's five cities is not strong; the management mode is not standard; the training means is single; and it also lacks talents, therefore it cannot satisfy the current market demand of table tennis.This study also proposed some countermeasures: to transform the administrative functions of government department, to standardize laws and regulations; to accelerate industrialization operation of table tennis in Liaoning; to strengthen the news propaganda and guidance; with the help of the 12th national games held in Liaoning Province, to actively develop the table tennis sports, thereby to promote the healthy and orderly development of table tennis industry. |
