Short track speed skating is one of the key projects in our winter sports. The results lie on the players'tactical level in a certain extent. But tactical practice can't be done time after time, because of players'limited physical active ability. Short track speed skating tactical simulation system simulates tactical training, using the technical achievements of artificial intelligence and computer graphics to simulate high level of tactical issues which can not be achieved in real training exercises. In this paper, the structure of tactical simulation system, and the function and the method of main modules is introduced briefly. The Model-Calculus part, including the model of 3D model collision detection and physical active ability, of the system is primarily studied. The part of collision detection in 3D scenes is implemented by PhysX physics engine. PhysX physics engine not only can simulate 3D physical world, and control the 3D players in the scenes to move follow dynamism, but also can complete collision detection and the response, to make the game more realistic; In the simulation competition, every player has a physical active ability value, and the value changes along with the course of the game, and affects the player's level to compete. The attenuation model of physical active ability presents a way to solve the problem. A way, computing the work done to overcome resistance to estimate the player's energy expenditure in the game, which is the attenuation of physical active ability, and the formula of the attenuation and total value of physical active ability is given. The transformation of the value affects not only the acceleration and the ability to maintain high-speed of players, the agent's tactical decision-making, and ultimately to make the results of the competition more realistic.
