Grey systems theory mainly study the problems of the poor and uncertain information.Greyincidence analysis is one of the most important part of grey systems theory and is the basis of greysystems analysis, grey cluster and grey target decision. In recent years, with futher research on thetheory and the promotion of applied research, grey incidence analysis has been a relatively activebranch of grey systems theory. This paper aims to study the basic theories of grey incidence analysismodeling and analyze the mechanism of grey incidence analysis modeling. The main ideas are tosummarize modeling mechanism of grey incidence models and analyze their properties. From twoperspectives including proximity and synthesis two new degree of grey incidence are defined andfurthermore apply grey incidence analysis to track correlation algorithm. The main contents of thepaper are as following.(1) summarize the theoretic and applied research results of grey incidence analysis and describethe main contents of this paper. classify the existing grey incidence models from the threeperspectives of distance close, shape simlar and both of them, and then study their properties andusage.(2) considering the classical thought of modeling, construct a new grey standard interval numbersincidence and study its properties and usage, and futhermore compare it with existing grey intervalnumbers incidence.(3) based on the LHD,build the grey incidence analyis model and then apply it to track correlationalgorithm.Simulation results show that the model works well. The algorithm furtherly deepens theapplication of grey incidence analysis in the fields of track correlation.
