Statistical Research And Analysis Based On The Postgraduate Entrance Examination Math In Shaanxi Province

Advanced Mathematics is an important course to participate in postgraduateexaminations. From the study section of the achievements of these years, the maincandidate admitted is not the total score and professional accomplishments, but themath and English scores. Therefore, candidates can pass the admission standards formathematics and English is the key that can be admitted. This paper deals with amathematical statistic analysis of the scores on the entrance test of mathematics of2011for the postgraduates. By means of gray relationship model and multivariatestatistical analysis model, we find out which affect the test results. We also analyze thereasons for the too low scores on the exams of2011. We also provide some usefulinformation that how to improving higher mathematics teaching for the future. We alsoput forward proposals on preparing for the entrance test of mathematics for thepostgraduates.The article consists of five sections. It is organizes as follows:In section1we mainly introduce the research background and significance of thegraduate record examination mathematics result at home and abroad;In section2we mainly by the methods of mathematical statistics to four sets of testpaper and the examinee result analysis, and find out the reason for the differencebetween the results;In section3for the postgraduate entrance examinee mathematics result, weestablish the gray relational model and multivariate statistical analysis model, andapply the grey correlation coefficient and multivariate regression analysis to find outthe main factors of influence the examinee result; In section4The statistical analysis model is applied to candidates data of Xi’anUniversity of Architecture and Technology, and compared analysis of the data and theprovince of candidates. we will find out the source of differences of school candidates,and provide some Suggestions and useful information for teaching in my school.Section5is the conclusion and prospect of this article.
