Airborne POS system can provide precise positioning and oriention information, so inrecent years it becomes the key component of high resolusion aerial photogrammetry. POS systemsets inertial navigation technology and satellite navigation technology in one body, and adopts thereal-time and post-process information fusion technology respectively, to get high precisionpositioning and oriention information. It was researched comprehensively and deeply that how toimprove the POS’s precise positioning and oriention information in real-time and post-processfusion scheme in this paper. The research results have good reference value for engineeringapplications for POS system development and application.POS system composition and characteristics were first studied, including the inertialnavigation system and satellite navigation system, also both of their error sources were analyzed.According to the applications of POS system, the POS application technical requirements andapplication schemes were put forward. It provides theoretical research reference for the POSsystem development and research.A real-time information fusion scheme for the application of POS system was reseached anddesigened. Combining with the application of POS system background, in the traditional INS/GPSintegrated navigation based on kalman filter, the practical problems in POS system applicationunder the environment of airborne were analyzed; in view of GPS measurement information notprecise enough caused by arm-lever in POS system, the kalman measurement informationimprovement and optimization algorithm was put forward. According to the real-time filterscheme in the mathematical simulation algorithm and half the physical simulation test and verify,the simulation results demonstrates kalman filter engineering advantage, and has importanttheoretical significance and engineering application value.According to the POS the information post-process and optimization, high preciseinformation fusion post-process scheme for the application of POS system was studied. In order tofurther improve the POS system precision, a two-way filtering algorithm in post-processapplication was proposed in this paper. On the basis of the traditional information fusion filtermethod, The two-way filtering algorithm makes use of measurement information of all thefiltering time to get the error estimation for smoothing reversely, and mathematical simulation andhalf the verification of the physical simulation results show that, the two-way filtering method hashigher precision of information fusion, suitable for POS system information fusion post-processmode. Finally, on the basis of analyzing the algorithm of precision fusion, the experiment platformfor POS’s high precision positioning technology was set up. This platform have real-timenavigation operation and post-process information fusion function, according with applicationrequirements for information processing scheme of POS supporting aerial photogrammetry. ThePOS system fusion algorithm analysis and information fusion half physical simulation resultsshow that the software platform has good engineering application engineering value.
