In recent years, China’s coal production is facing a very grim situation,heavy, especially big malignant accidents, has had the bad social impact.Coalmine emergency rescue platform is based on information technology,visualization technology and database technology as the foundation, through therescue command, data center and integrated application system, the integrationof various rescue resources platform.Coal mine emergency rescue data containremarkable spatial data and complex attribute data, how to effectively store,manage, and the rational use of these data, spatial database construction isthe key.The paper discusses needs analysis, conceptual design, logical design andphysical design of the coal mine emergency database in detail, and the spatialdatabase construction, spatial data organization and management, databaseperformance tuning, database backup and recovery technology for a more in-depthstudy.In view of coal mine emergency rescue features, the use of Geodatabasegeographic data model, ArcSDE spatial database engine and SQL Server databasetechnology to build coal mine emergency rescue spatial database.AE developedbased on coal mine emergency rescue platform database management system,implementation of vector data, raster data as well as table data in storage andfor the multiple source, massive of coal mine emergency rescue spatial dataand attribute data management.
