The purpose of reservoir characterization is to provide fine geological model forexploration and development of oil and gas field, and make a comprehensiveevaluation and effective management of oil and gas fields or oil and gas reservoirs.There are two main contradiction in Fuyu oilfield. First, the resources of reservesspent inadequate, reserves to use less.180million tons oil has been produced,Production rate and degree of recovery is low(The oil production rate is0.60%, theextent of recovery is22%(predicted38%)). The second is that the level of awarenessof the small layer is low, it is difficult to meet the needs of the efficient development.The single sand body architecture is lack of awareness. So requiring fine-descriptionof reservoir on X17-19blocks.Fine description of reservoir from the five areas, which are division andcorrelation of the small layer, research sedimentary facies of the test block, analysisthe architecture of single sand body of the meandering river point bar, reservoirheterogeneity and establish the reservoir geological model.Through this research, we know that the major depositional environments of theblock transition between meandering river and delta plain.Reservoir heterogeneity isserious, mainly controlled by sedimentary facies. The porosity, permeability of pointbar are high. Range is larger, the heterogeneity is hard. The variation range of porositypermeability variation in abandoned channel, crevasse splay, distributary channel isslightly lower, the heterogeneity is relatively weak. In addition, channel lateralmigration, periodic flooding, the lithology of sandstone also have an impact onreservoir properties, even in the same micro-facies internal porosity and penetrationhave significant differences. According to reservoir hierarchical data and depositionresults on X17-19block, combined with interpret the logging data, restricted by thesedimentary facies model, using sequential Gauss simulation method to establishproperty model of reservoir.
