Source of error of original atmospheric electric field data has been studied with the data obtained by the lightning location system from the side of data receiving apparatus and its distribution etc.The result shows that there are circuit error, calibration error, mounting height error and circumstance error. Methods to decrease these error have been analyzed.Statistics analysis of calculated data and observation data were contrasted, as well as electric field value at different height were bounded up through analysis contrast. Due to different field sources, electric field characteristic are different between fine weather and Thunderstorms. Statistics and linear fit are using as correction method in these two conditions.Time and Frequency Domain Features of electric field data were analyzed using a variety of methods, especially fractal geometric method with innovation with which fractal parameter of atmospheric electric field is obtained. Detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA) method is used in both fine weather and lightning weather. The study revealed that Hurst Index are large than0.6in lightning weather, Singular spectrum function line width are0.8,give or take,(?)(q)(Performance figure)shows linear-like features in some given situation. On the contrary, the fractal features does not exist in fine weather. Hurst Index as well as Singular Spectrum Function Line Width of atmospheric electric field data can be used as a kind of forecast factor of thunderstorm monitoring and warning.
