In recent30years,the exploration process of Siberian Platform in Russia is slow, but the number of gas fields, condensate fields and hydrocarbon fields beendiscovered has amounted to more than60.So the Siberian Platform is one of targetareas which have great potential and broad prospects for exploration. Oil and gas inSiberian Platform mainly enriched in riphean, vendian and cambrian. Those threegroups are the main purpose layers in this paper. A series of problems still exist in thePlatform, such as great differences in hydrocarbon exploration progress, the relativelyfragmented existing information of tectonic units, the lack of systematization, uncertain rules of hydrocarbon accumulation. So basing on the theory ofpetroleum geology, oil and gas geochemistry, sedimentology and other subjects, thepaper discusses conditions of hydrocarbon accumulation and analyzes typicalreservoirs of tectonic types, distribution characteristics of hydrocarbon reservoirs andmain controlling factors. In the last, we will summarize rules of hydrocarbonaccumulation.First of all, analyzing the thickness of source rocks and related geochemicalindicators, such as organic carbon content, chloroform asphalt "A" and Ro, we get theresult that hydrocarbon mainly derived from riphean and secondly came from vendianand cambrian. Secondly, according to analyses of types of porosity andpermeability of reservoirs, thicknesses and distribution characters of reservoir-sealcombinations, we establish several predicted maps of quality of reservoir-sealcombination. Thirdly, basing on analyses discovered characters of oil and gasreservoirs, we get the result that the main type of hydrocarbon reservoir trap is stratum—structure composite type and The migration and preservation ofhydrocarbon mainly depends on tectonic action, characters of tectonic units and thedistribution of salt rock. Fourthly, in accordance with analyses of types ofhydrocarbon reservoir traps and distribution characters in the plane and vertical, weget the result that controlling factors are tectonic action, the distribution of lithologythe distribution of source rocks. In the last, we establish the model of theriphean—cambrian hydrocarbon accumulation in Siberian Platform andcome to a conclusion that the type of the hydrocarbon accumulation isthe self-generation and self-store mode and hydrocarbon mainly distributed in cratoninternal uplift areas not including the shield.
