Kumkol Oilfield was put into exploitation in May,1990. At present, it has already stepped in to a stage of high water-cut production, meanwhile, it is still be faced with many problems such as grave water flooded in oil layer, continual increasing of water content ratio and the composite water cut has exceeded80%. This will cause oil-field development more and more difficult. Based on this present situation, study on log interpretation methods of water flooded layer in high water cut stages is a matter of great urgency. This research is guided by the theory of Logging geology, Sedimentology and other theories. Based on the experimental research on the mechanism of water flooded reservoir, this paper analysis a series of changes on the petrophysical property and electric property of reservoir after being watered-out and summarizes log response characteristics after water flooded through comprehensive use of geology, logging, core analysis, production dynamic and formation test data to study methods for qualities of water-flooded zones recognition and watered-out patterns. According to the direct reflection of watered-out status which is caused by means of production, this dissertation integrates applications of the conventional logging interpretation and is combined with the geological characteristics of reservoir in Kumkolā€™s working areas to establish interpreting models for watered-out layer parameters and logging interpretation standard, meanwhile, fine logging interpretation will be also contained. Besides, it improves the watered out zone explanation level by comparing C/O logging interpretation and conventional logging interpretation and constructs a set of logging interpretation method of water flooded layer to adapt to Kumkol Oilfield. It will provide a reliable basis for further exploitation in oilfield at high water-cut stages and achievement of sustainable development. Meanwhile, it plays an significant part in searching the distribution of remaining oil and optimizing the perforation. This method has better popularization and application value.
