The gravity and magnetic anomaly characteristic and prospecting law ofporphyry type copper mine in Tibet is researched in this paper.The original data isform Tibet, scaled from1:1000000to1:200000,which is aeromagnetic and gravitydata. During the research, data are processed and transformed in some degree, e.g.navigation magnetized extremely, which is main to show target object space location,scale and structural trend information etc. Faults and igneous rock distributions aredescribed and inversed. Consequently, through this research, the distribution offaults and igneous rock are understood, the relationship of rock and aeromagneticand gravity can be inferred. Finally, confirmed the mine regular.The research shows that there are two porphyry metallogenic belt, located infault area of the Yarlung Zangbo River, Jin sha River, Salween River, which have agood gravity and Magnetic anomaly, showing the depth, rock objects, distribution ofControl metallogenic belt in gravity anomaly.Eight target objects are referred from aeromagnetic data, six of the eight targetobjects are concerted in two controlling metallogenic belts, which is mentionedabove. Besides, five target objects are inferred from less gravity and magnetic andgeology information, which can be referenced in future.
