Logging profile to drilling, core observation, thin sections, scanning electronmicroscopy and logging data and seismic profiles, based on the use of rock properties,pressure mercury and other analytical information. Chagan depression in terms ofpetrology, mineralogy, sedimentary characteristics, diagenesis Su clastic rocks andvolcanic rocks of the reservoir characteristics.Based on outcrop, core, thin section observation for the first-hand data, usingcomprehensive analysis of technology of the datas like physical property, mercurypenetration, relative permeability, thinsection, beginning with practical data, valuingbasic research, the paper stresses the importance of basic method. Reservoir space isresearched from aspects like mineralogy, petrology, sedimentary characteristics,diagenesis to further improve the reservoir formation model of the second Section ofSuhongduanin Chagan Sag. Reservoir characteristics, pore type and structure and so onare under study according to drilling cores, casting lamella, SEM observation of thereservoir, then the reservoir space could be classified and evolution pattern of reservoirspace could be established. Through systematic diagenetic environment research andoutcrop, core, thin section observation of the research area, a comprehensiveunderstanding of mineral composition,collection types and rock constructioncharacteristics of the second Section of Suhongduanof Chagan sag is made, providingbasic basis for formation mechanism research of the reservoir. Based on mercurypenetration, relative permeability, conventional physical property and well logging data,reservoir parameters are confirmed, and the evaluation standard of the second Section ofSuhongduan reservoir are established. Finally, evaluates the favorable reservoircombined.Meanwhile, the degree of the volcanic reservoirs research is rather low. Thepurpose of the research is to fully absorb the current research results of the area. Based on new materials and results of the oil field, the research focus on identifyingcharacteristics of petrology of volcanic rock and the formation and distributioncharacteristics of volcanic reservoirs, making a profound research on rock-electricityrelation, volcano rock identification and prediction; Based on the above basis, evaluateand select favorable zones. Through the research of the project, for volcanic reservoirsof Chagan sag, more systematic evaluation of the oil and gas exploration potential andexploration direction will be made,thus will clear the next favorable exploration zones,which has important practical significance to provide a basis for explorationdeployment.Through the project, Chagan Sag, Su Sec clastic reservoirs and volcanic reservoirand distribution system evaluation,further understanding of the regional reservoir andfavorable reservoir distribution prediction and lay a solid foundation for the significantprogress of the oil and gas exploration in the area, has important practical significance.
