Shaxi Poryphyry Copper of Anhui province is located in the south oflower Yangze metal ogeninc belt, it is an important areas to form Cu-gold-Fepolymetallic deposit. On the base of the former research work and surrounding regionalgeology were summarized, this paper complete the research about thecharacteristics of the regional geological structure and features and thecontrolling role of structure to the rocks and ores.By detailed field geologicalsurveying,we collected a large number of geological information, and usedpetrology, structural geology, mineral deposit geology, geochemistry and othermulti-disciplinary knowledge to do the research about the characteristics ofthe regional geological structure, geological features, geochemical and thecontrolling role of structure to the rocks and ores comprehensively and we getsome understanding form the paper. After analysis and comparison, The forming of The Shaxi porphyrycopper deposit is from Indo-China movement, Eastern region in China wereE-W extrusion effect,so forming with the NE-NNE as the main bldy of thedeep structural system, under this controlling,in Yanshanian movement by theinfluence of the sinistral displacement of the Tan-Lu faulted zone, the magmainstrusion effects in the formation of porphyry copper deposit. The study areaof fold structure is the main rock-control structures, zone of faults are the main“ore-guided” and “ore-hosting”structure,Mineralization and related with themainly fracture is North East and NNE fracture, and the multiple directions ofthe intersection part of faults for orebody accumulation area. The F6fault ofEW contriong the distrbutiong and occurrence of orebody inFengtaishan-Tongquanshan deposit.
