The porphyry copper deposit in Chundu,Shangri-La,Yunnan province located in the southwest Sanjiang metallogenic belt of the island arc southern part of the Yidun,which belong to Tethyan metallogenic domain and as the part of the three metallogenic domain of the porphyry copper.Strongly mineralization in the study area,strong hydrothermal alteration and a wide range,unique the formation of setting,multiple deposit types and abundant mineral resources.In this study,through field investigation and the studies of the geochemical characteristics of rocks,reseach the problems of hydrothermal alteration zoning,diagenetic age and setting,elemental geochemical characteristics and ore-controlling factors etc aspects.Through field geological survey and mirror to observe clearly the Chundu porphyry copper deposit is hydrothermal alteration zoning by porphyry body out,followed by silicified zone,sericitization zone and propylitization zone,argillic zone,and monzonite with model fit,and silicified zone and phyllic zone of mineralization occurred in the good,propylitization zone and argillic zone mineralization is weak.Mining the outcropping stratum is the main qugasi group and tumugou group,tumugou group second segment?T3t2?Chundu copper ore bearing strata,rock and porphyry contact zone of alteration and metamorphism and strongly associated with mineralization.The mineralization of high grade mainly occurs in the quartz two porphyry,and the more shallow mineralization is the better.Affected by the West Xiangcheng Geza deep faults,ore production and NNW and NE are closely related to the secondary structure.Through the element geochemical data analysis,this paper draw mining quartz monzonite porphyry rock era in 204.9+detailed and 208.4+1.8Ma.And Pulang,Lannitang,Xuejiping,such as porphyry into rocks of the same age.The rock in the mine area is acidic rock,and the rock is a calcium alkaline rock series in the alkaline series by the cast diagram.Sr*<1 in the rocks,associated with the plagioclase is by fractional crystallization.Negative Nb anomalies,representing mining magma belongs to I type magma.The relative enrichment of light rare earth in the mine,the relative loss of heavy rare earth,and no Eu anomaly,showed that the crystallization of feldspar in this area was not obvious.Trace element Sr,Nb,Ta depletion and combined with tectonic discrimination,Chundu mining area of intrusive rocks produced in volcanic arc environment of plate subduction.Through geochemical anomaly analysis by the author,the results appear positive anomaly of Cu,accompanied Ag,Hg,As,Sb positive anomalies,and Co,Mn,Cr,Ti negative anomalies at the junction of quartz monzonite porphyry and diorite rock in the southwesten of mining area.This area can be as new prospecting targets,and laid drilling is key of the next work.The contact zone of the quartz monzonite porphyry and diorite rocks is good mineralization areas,the front halo elements elements Ag,Hg,As,Sb positive anomalies appear,and the tail halo elements,namely iron group elements Co,Mn,Cr,Ti negative anomalies that indicate may have concealed ore body in the study region.
