Reliability analysis of the series with a cold standby repairable system isone of the important researches in the reliability area. In the repairable model,tandem cold redundant repairable system is a very important model. Thepaper studies the cold redundant with three parts series repairable system.Based on the references, the paper has submitted the different type parts,mechanic delay repair, switch not completely reliable, and we can get someof the reliability indexes about these systems.Firstly, this paper studies the two different type parts with a cold standbysystem. Assuming that the life distribution, repair time distribution are bothcontinuous exponential distribution, considering the switch completelyreliable, each component can be good as new, application of timehomogeneous Markov process, obtaining the availability, steady-statefailure frequency and other reliability indexes, and through the assignmentmethod combined with mathematic software programming verify the stabilityof the system.Secondly, on the above research, making the reserve part be differentwith working parts, assuming that the lifetime distribution, repair time distribution are both continuous exponential distribution, considering theswitch completely reliable, each unit all can be good as new, application oftime homogeneous Markov process theory and Laplace transform method,finding out the Laplace transform expression of system reliability, systemmean time to first failure and steady-state availability and other reliabilityindexes.Thirdly, adding repairman delay repair conditions in the paper, andmaking the delay repair time follows general distribution, through the use ofsupplementary variable method and generalized Markov process method,getting the Laplace transform expression of system reliability, mean time tofirst failure, steady-state availability and steady-state fault frequency degreeand other important reliability indexes.Finally, based on above researches, assuming that the switch is notcompletely reliable, and if the switch repair time is PH distribution, each unitcan be good as new, application of Markov process to get the systemsteady-state probability distribution, steady-state availability and the Laplacetransform expression of instantaneous availability and some other reliabilityindexes.
