Using the transfer matrix method, we study the transport properties through a magneticfield modulated graphene barrier. It is found that electrostatic barrier, the magnetic vectorpotential, and the number of wells in a barrier modify the transmission remarkably. Theangular dependent transmission is blocked by the magnetic vector potential because of theappearance of the evanescent states at certain incident angles, and the region of Kleintunneling shifts to the left. The angularly averaged conductivities exhibit oscillatorybehavior. The magnitude and period of oscillation depend sensitively on the height of theelectrostatic barrier, the number of wells, and the strength of the modulated magnetic field. On the basis of studying the properties of the more square barriers,we study the transportproperties of the chop-shaped barrier by adopting a more gradualist approach, and foundthat the shape of the potential barrier greatly influence the transport properties. Bycomparing the two kinds of structures, found their own characteristics, and then designpotential barrier structure according to the actual needs.
