The ocean is the resource trove for human,70%of the Earth’s surface is ocean,Seabed resources and seabed engineering exploration is important to human survival and development.Gradually as the seabed resources valued by humans, undersea resource exploration and underwater works need more and more destructive of small, high accuracy detection of submarine detection methods. Self-potential method is a method of applying firstly, because it does not need artificial electric field is applied, soit is simple than any other electrical prospecting method in the apparatus, equipment and field work. In the marine environment, Seawater has a+200mV-+400mV oxidation potential. seabed sediments-100mV—-200mV reduction potential, submarine is a clear boundary between oxidation and reduction.Conductor (such as mineral deposits) through the interface will produce electricity The SP was abnormal caused by current proliferation of area Seafloor hydrothermal sulfide. deposits in the area is dotted with a large number of metal deposits.using self-potential method can observe the anomalies significantly.As long as using the collection of high sensitivity, high-precision detection system,we can detect whether this area of seafloor hydrothermal sulfide deposits.This is an important theoretical basis for the self-potential method applied to the submarine.This paper is divided into the following sections described:1.In the first part, we introduced the deep-sea exploration technology, Summarizes the domestic and foreign deep-sea exploration technology, electromagnetic research status and development trend. Briefly discusses the detection method of several major.2.In the second,we research the SP method of theoretical, including the natural electric field, distribution, and characteristics of marine natural potential method for the subsequent data analysis provides a theoretical basis;3.this paper describes the Analysis of the composition of towed detection system. including the Meters of coaxial cable, the working principle of selection of the microprocessor, AD chip principle and selection, and the characteristics and the principles of digital filtering techniques, this paper introduces Subject key problems to be solved;4.this paper introduces The hardware circuit, the hardware circuit is based STM32microcontrollers, first introduced to the micro-controller,then mainly comprising of the High-precision data acquisition circuit, channel selection unit, analog-digital conversion processor and its peripheral circuits, design the power supply circuit. Finally, circuit design and the need to pay attention to lessons learned; 5.this paper introduces software design of the system,and the whole system software designing processes. Including PC software with lower computer software,the part of Program Design.6.the last of the paper,this paper carrys out the Experimental data, And the method by hardware and software to reduce errors as much as possible.Experimental results show that the system has basically met the requirements of the project targets to achieve the design goals. Finally,this paper concluded all the work of this project, proposed for further improvement, and point out the prospects of marine natural potential method of application.
