In industrial production, equipment with rotary device is the actual production in common and failure-prone mechanical devices. The stability and security of its equipment, often determines the efficiency of the entire industrial process, so it is necessary to detect the state of the valve and analysis the stress of the structure.This paper research the present situation analysis method of rotating machinery, and elect more common rotating machinery-rotary valve as the prototype, First, introduce some existing problems and the improved method of the rotary valve,then,build the finite element model of the valve body and rotor. On this basis, analysis the static state of the body and rotor, obtain in stress and deformation of the valve body and the rotor in the different conditions, at different positions in stress and deformation, and then also, the moving process simulation of explicit rotary valve dynamics is achieved. The rotational velocity load angular velocity and the interaction between the wheel、the spindle and granule are applied on the finite element modal. Finally, we add the temperature load.Under such load, the stress; strain distribution and the deformation of the wheel and the spindle are solved with FEA software. The finite element result verifies whether the design of the wheel and the spindle can satisfy the using requirement.The paper explicates that digital compute method is a convenient and effective method to analysis the rotary machine.Finally,comprehensively compare the result of the static and dynamic analysis,discuss the gap and the stress of the body and rotor:When only considerthe mechanical loads,the radial displacement and stress of the transient analysis is smaller than the result of the static;when consider the comprehensive load inculde the mechanical load and temperature load conditions,the gap of the transient is smaller than the result of the static, and the overall stress is lower too, this is mainly to consider the influence of the angular velocity,so the radial deformation of the blade is larger than the static.Comprehensive comparison of calculated results show that the transient analysis of the gap between the valve body and rotor more comprehensive observation of the structure of alternating stress and deformation of the mechanical behavior of the transient calculation.the result of the transient analysis of the rotary valve meets the design of requirements, while the static calculations appear to be relatively conservative and partial security.
