In Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope plan, accurate dynamic shaping of cable-net reflector is realized by accurate control of under stay’s length of every node controller. For the control system of FAST as the whole cable-net reflector with many nodes, network design is the preferred solution. For real-time adjustment of cable net nodes, selecting an appropriate data transmission and establishing a reliable and efficient network architecture are the key technologies to achieve the normal work of the whole reflector. As the Ethernet technology is a mature technology information network with network flexibility, stability and reliability and many other advantages, so in this control system, uses Ethernet technology. The reseach on the Network for the Control System of the Cable-mesh Reflector Based on Ethernet Technology is detailledly introduced in this thesis.First, the research background and research status on the subject are introduced, Then some key technologies such as the Ethernet, TCP/IP protocol and embedded technology have been studied, on this basis the whole design scheme of the Network for the Control System of the Cable-mesh Reflector Based on Ethernet Technology is proposed. This proposal is based on the multi-port network node program. Multi-port network nodes make every node of the control system network more flexibly. In the communication process with hierarchical structure, to achieve multi-layer distributed transmission. In addition, connect redundant links between two nodes to improve the network survivability.Secondly, according to the characteristics of embedded technology, complete the design of network nodes in the control system of cable net reflector with MC9S12NE64as main control chip and RTL8309SB as switch chip. The design includes both hardware and software design aspects, the hardware includes power supply module, the master chip module, MII interface module, SPI Interface Module, Switching chip module, network transformer module, RJ45interface module, LED display circuit module, These modules together make up the multi-port hardware structure of network nodes. Software design for the network node includes the design and realization of each software function module such as the realization of the switch module driver, MII interface program implementation, TCP/IP Protocol implementation, SPI interface program implementation and PC network communication program implementation. The designs of these modules make up the whole system software design.Finally, the system’s hardware and software are debugged, after the actual operation and testing, the design accesses requirements.
