The study area in Ejinaqi of Alashan Union of Inner Mongolia is located atcentral Asia low mountain desert area, with sparsely populated and harsh naturalconditions. The tectonic location of study area has superior metallogenic geologicalconditions,which is in the connecting parts of the kazakhstan plate and tarim plate,it islocated in the main metallogenic belt of northwest China—Haerlike-Hongshishan-Yuanbaoshan third metallogenic belt of beishan metallogenic belt. Over the years, theregion due to the natural and economic condition restriction, although in the area ofgeology and mineral investigation has made some achievements, but in view of thegeological and mineral work in the study area has been a lack of careful work. Inrecent years, as national mineral resources strategic adjustment, beishan metallogenicbelt as a strategic leader resources increasingly brought to the attention of theacademia. From2010to2011,the author participated the project—“the Copperpolymetallic exploration in the Daoganuoguer area, Ejinaqi county, Inner Mongoulia”which is Issued by the Inner Mongoulia geological prospecting fund managementcenter. Through the study of geological background, metallogenic conditions andgeophysical and geochemical characteristics of the system analysis, in the study areadelineated4of the prospecting target and engineering verification and good ore-prospecting results have been achieved. The outdoor floor of study area is mainly the silurian strata,the Rock properties ismainly Shallow metamorphic rock such as silty slate and metamorphic sandstone,quartz schist, quartzite. The strata affected by Liutuoshan anticlinorium,it is stretch tonorth east and it is angle between south west40°60°. Affected by the regionaldeep fault, the main structure form in study area is fault structure, and most of thefault in study area is trend to north east.With north east fault intersection north westfault area Is an important mineralization zone area. Intrusive rocks in the study areahas a wide distribution of rock mass,it is wide range of exposed in the central andsouthern of study area. Magmatic activity is concentrated in the variscan, mainly fordiorite intrusive rock type long, alkali granite, quartz diorite, which the invasion ofdiorite rock mass has a close relationship with gold mineralization.Mineralization types in the study area into a single type—quartz vein containsgold. In the process of geological exploration, we have found five gold quartz veinexposed on the surface. The quartz vein output controlled by fracture structure, mostquartz vein trend to north east and it is mineralization enrichment phenomenon inlocal. The main mineral in quartz vein is pyrite, chalcopyrite and tetrahedrite, visibleminority gold.Based on analysis of fluid inclusions in different metallogenic periods,wefound that the ore-forming fluid of gold mineralization in study area is a NaCl-CO2-H2O hydrothermal system with medium temperature low salinity characteristics.Combining with the geological background and mineralizing condition, inferd theOre-forming fluid of gold quartz vein is from the magmatic hydrothermaldifferentiation.We analyzed the soil geochemistry data of study area and found61multi-elementanomalitic places,and there are8abnormal place of Au in this61multi-elementanomalitic places. On the basis of the single element anomalies, Element anomalylocation relationships and Geological characteristics,we marking out threecombination element anomaly area. Through element association analysis, we foundthe gold element with a poor correlation with other elements.So the gold prospectingexploration activities in the study area can only instruct by gold element anomalies. Through evaluation to the gold element anomaly, we found two mineralizedanomalies and two alteration anomaliesin in8out of the single element anomaliesdelineated, identify two mineralized anomalies and two alteration anomalies in eightgold element anomalies.Magnetic scanning results showed that the study area is stable magnetic fieldarea,and it is reflects the characteristics of acidic magmatic activity.We found2highresistance high polarization anomaly zone and1the low resistance and lowsusceptibility anomaly zone in5IP section. And there is a section area reflects thecharacteristics of high resistivity and high chargeability, but resistivity andchargeability with a poor linear relationship.After combining with the geological characteristics, metallogenic conditions,,Au element anomaly distribution and the IP section data in study area,we Marking out4prospecting target areas. Through exploratory trench proving,we found two veins inⅠ and Ⅱtarget area. The average grade of this two veins is3.0×10-6and9.5×10-6,the highest grade is22.3×10-6.According to the result of verify the prospecting target, that prospecting activitiesin the study area should be based on gold mineralization that found the surface of theearth, in accordance with the gold element with anomaly high strength and wide range,combined with very high resistance high polarization anomalies or low resistance andlow susceptibility anomaly distribution characteristics.
