Firstly, this paper introduces the research background and significance of tensor CSAMT. Then, based on the precious research work, I derived one-dimensional numerical simulation theoretical formula of tensor CSAMT and programmed with the FORTRAN language. On the basis of verifying the correctness of the program, I designed some theoretical geoelectric models and summed up variation characteristics of the impedance tensor and tipper vector, these can provide a comparative reference for2D/3D tensor CSAMT modeling. After that, I put forward a data acquisition program, and gave the estimated minimum frequency and exploration depth formula, the minimum and maximum transceiver distance formula. Combined with electromagnetic field strength partition of the cross-type and L-type sources and the above technical parameters, I delineated the appropriate measurement areas of tensor CSAMT. Carrying out the data acquisition of tensor CSAMT, according to the above method, we can provide reliable raw data for the next processing program.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background and significance of tensor CSAMT, offers a review of the current research about it, and outlooks its application prospects. Then, I proposed tensor CSAMT data processing method. After pre-processed of the collected data, and get the impedance tensor of measurement axis, then analysis the data form the following aspects:coordinate rotation, Mohr and phase tensor.Ⅰ derived the formula of these three aspects and program them with FORTRAN language. Combining the three aspects to complement each other, not only can delineate the underground abnormal bodies, but also can conduct a comprehensive analysis of underground geological formations. Finally, based on the proposed tensor CSAMT data acquisition and processing technology and using the multi-function electromagnetic detection system (EDM) independently developed by our own Country, we carried out tensor CSAMT survey work in a mine in Xingjian, analyzed the collected data in detail, and achieved fine test results.The preliminary study of the tensor CSAMT data acquisition and processing technology, to some extent, not only can promote the theoretical study of this method and application in practical work, but also can promote our self-developed DEM electromagnetic detection system to move to the times of the three-dimensional high-precision electromagnetic exploration.
