Because theexisting large oil field in China has entered the later period, whereas, thedemand for oil and gas to the domestic economic construction increases drastically, thereforit’s more and more significant to strengthen the exploration and development research ofoverseas oil and gas reservoirs. In this paper, the comprehensive evaluation method of oil andgas reservoir is studied by using of the logging data of M and L oilfield in the central Asiancountry, which has important significance and reference value for application ofexpandingoverseas oil and gas blocks in exploration and development. The lithology identification of oil and gas reservoir is important and basic for thecomprehensive evaluation in the logging interpretation, which is of great significance to thereservoir discrimination, stratigraphic correlation and sedimentary facies classification, waterflooded layer identification and reservoir evaluation for oilfield exploration and development. On the basis of analysis and calibration of the existing core data in the M and L oilfield, thelithology types and fluid discrimination characteristic are studied and analyzed firstly.Thenthe reservoir parameter interpretation models of the sandstone and carbonate are establishedrespectively. Finally, the logging evaluation of two types of reservoirs of the oil field in thisarea are accomplished. The comprehensive evaluation research on carbonate reservoir is also made in M oilfieldaccording to the classification of carbonate-terrigenous reservoir, testing of porosity, geological structural conditions and geophysical research materials. In L oilfield, theresistivity of some reservoirs is similar tothat of surrounding bed, and even lower than that. Inthis case, only the oil-water interface and testing data can be used for the logginginterpretation. Based on the relationship of porosity and permeability and the mean radius ofpore channel, the fluid identification standard of L and M oilfield is established quantitatively. The reservoir model adopted in this paper provided an important reference basis for thelogging interpretation in this field. And the research on the lower limit value of porosity andpermeability and the relationships among four properties of the reservoris is reference to thecomprehensive evaluation of the oil, gas and water in this area.
