Landslide is a kind of slope that under a certain natural conditions which caused by river erosion, artificial cut slope, groundwater activity or earthquakes and other factors, so that the part of soil or rock under gravity, along with a certain face or weak, overall, slow, intermittent, horizontal displacement-based deformation. Since the landslide is high dangerous, so the research and prevention on landslide is particularly important. In the landslide, we often use an engineering building which is anti-slide pile, because of its anti-slide ability, and less deterioration of landslides, widely applicable conditions, the advantages of simple construction up security in many engineering fields have a wide application. But for the large-scale landslide governance, ordinary single-row piles are needed to use a large cross-sectional area, and often can not meet the practical engineering. Therefore, the actual project often used row piles to provide a greater stabilizing force to solve the capacity shortage of single-row anti-slide piles. However, as the double-row piles are more complicated than single-row pile under vertical loads, the actual distribution of landslide thrust and different distance between piles effect the landslide thrust issues which are relatively difficult to determine, and the safety factor in design of piles is usually too large. And the sliding capabilities of the structure can not fully play as well. In this paper, the force characteristics and applied design methods of double-row piles were studied.(1) By analyzing the force characteristics of anti-slide piles, we present several design ideas which include some designing parts, such as cantilever piles embedment length segments and the determination of anti-slip-sectional shape of the pile and the pile spacing issues such as research, access to a few more practical conclusions.(2) In the Guzhu highway landslide, for example, by analyzing the formation mechanism and stability of the landslide, we put out the landslide thrust components that in front row piles and rear piles.(3) By using the application of finite difference software FLAC, we calculated the landslide thrust soil resistance in front and rear piles of double-row piles and the stress distribution forms of piles and using the numerical simulation method to get the deformation characteristics in different pile row distance.(4) By studying the pile thrust distribution patterns on back and the front-row piles, which the design of double-row piles should be based on front and rear piles discontinuity same characteristics, we should use different cross-sectional dimensions and reinforcement methods.(5) By using the application of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation methods, we prepared to use the comprehensive management recommendations by anti-slide piles and surface drainage to resolve the Guzhu highway landslide engineering.
