| The glove knitting machine using cylinder to select needle can not meet the furtherdevelopment of automation requirements, and can not achieve the function of jacquard. Thispaper developed a control system of the glove knitting machine for the needle selection withsingle magnetic needle body. An embedded design with microcontroller LPC1765based onARM Cortex-M3series was proposed, which completed the design of hardware circuit andsoftware.This paper discussed composition of the glove machine and analyzed the working process,also studied the knitting technology of glove and sequencing control, finally offered my owndevelopment system with several selection of CPU and peripheral chips. At the same timeaccording to the requirements of glove machines, expanded the following modules:(1) Needle selection data transmission interface: Serial data on needle selection patterntransmission using differential drive mode is adopted.(2) Real-time information storage module: The function of power-off protection is achievedwith the added Ferroelectric Nonvolatile RAM which can improve the reliability of thecontrol system.(3) Pattern information storage module: A piece of flash memory is added to store pattern data.(4) USB interface module: The flash disk to input the pattern design is realized by designingUSB interface, which improves the input speed, provides convenience to store and transmitbig pattern files.(5) Human-machine interface: Including keyboard and LCD display.(6) Variable frequency drive modules: Sending drive speed information to transducer onRS-485bus.The program of this system has been developed by Keil ARM in the integrateddevelopment environment of KeilμVision4, including main program of control system, programdesign of files management system and function modules. Through software design and hardware circuit a series of functions have been achieved including parameters set up, patterninformation’s processing, system test and so on. As a result of the field debugging and test, themovement of the textile Jacquard is brief and accurate by using the control system, which is ofbetter characteristics in working. |
