This experiment is involved into two parts:The first part is that district Nanfei river estuary as the research object,and collect column shaped sediment sample, study on sediment nitrogen releasing regularity; the second part is that acquisition of six local sediment samples from the Nanfeihe river, The fifteen Mile river,Tangxi river, Pai river, Xin river and the central of west Chao Lake in the western half of Chao Lake,analyze the release of nitrogen in the sediment andestimate the nitrogen release flux of the western half of Chao Lake sediment. The results showed that:(1)Disturbance intensity have a big infect on the nitrogen releasing from sediment. With the perturbation rate, sediment nitrogen release(absorption) rate also increased. Disturbance rate changes also affect the emission of nitrogen release from sediment.The emission of nitrogen release from sediment increased with the increasing of disturbance rate.(2) The concentration of nitrogen in the overlying water is closely related to the release of nitrogen from sediment, the smaller the initial nitrogen concentration of overlying water is,the more conducive to sediment nitrogen release. When the initial nitrogen concentration in the overlying water exceeds a certain extent, the role of inhibition of nitrogen release will be more,The sediment absorb nitrogen from the overlying water is more than release.(3) Temperature have a huge impact on the release of sediment nitrogen. The higher the temperature, the more conducive to the release of sediment nitrogen. Of course, the range of temperature shoud be within the water temperature changes of the Chaohu Lake.(4) The experiment studied on the annual sediment nitrogen release flux of the western half of Chaohu lake. The release of nitrogen in the sediment of the Nanfeihe river, The fifteen Mile river,Tangxi river, Pai river, Xin river and the central of west Chao Lake annually are-5.57t、-3.07t、-3.85t、-4.82t、-5.31tand-5.63t per Square kilometre. According to the relationship between the release of nitrogen per unit area in six points and the temperature、total nitrogen content in the sediment, We use SPAW software to deal with the data. Come to the equation:y=-0.001x1+0.347x2-6.850. y represents the nitrogen emission per unit area, x1on behalf of the sediment total nitrogen content. x2represents the temperature.
