On Human Beings’Sustainable Development During Social Transformation Period

With the policy of reformation and opening, china has made a great development in economy in the past thirty years. It is clear to see the transition of the society from general well-off to all round well-off. These thirty years has also witnessed the great improvement of Chinese people’s living condition, which meets their basic needs for living. Therefore, the study of people has turned from how to make them survive into how to cultivate them. People’s need of living is the internal power driving them to develop. After this need is satisfied, the needs of enjoying life and of developing become new ones. How to instruct people to develop so that such higher need can be met now deserves attention. This paper, at the real background of social transformation, using a study of young people whose rural registered permanent residence changes into urban one, proposes the idea of human beings’sustainable development. It also suggests the importance of cultivating people’s ability to develop, and realizing the harmony of both heart and mind, in which people’s needs will be met and thus to promote the overall development of human beings.This paper has mainly four parts. The first part, incorporating the current situation of human beings’development, presents the theoretical and practical significance of human beings’ sustainable development from the current development of society economy. This part will also present the current studies of human beings’development problems, proposing the main means and idea of this paper. In the second part, the theoretical studies of human beings’sustainable development will be discussed. With the human beings’ overall development of Marxism and scientific development as theoretical sources, combining the theories of human beings’sustainable development and needs, this part will also discuss the theoretical system of human’s sustainable development. The next part will make empirical research of human beings’ sustainable development. This research will use some young people whose rural registered permanent residence will change into urban one as research subjects. It will focus on their current developing situation, and discover the main solution to problems and difficulties faced by these young people through the means of sustainable development. The forth part will take us back to the current situation of social transformation and propose some efficient approaches for human being to make overall improvement. It will also suggest the content and ways of human beings’sustainable development.The main focus of this paper is, at the instruction of Marxism’s human overall development theory and scientific development theory, the propose of human beings’sustainable development, namely cultivating human beings’ability of developing themselves to solve various problems and difficulties encountered in their lives. It also suggests that through the complete of system, development of material production, overall education implement and cultivation of independent character, it will promote the sustainable development of economic society and finally promote the overall development of human beings.
