Landfill leachate is a kind of wastewater with complex composition and wide range of high concentrations of pollutants in. It is produced in the process of sanitary landfill disposal. At present, it is hard to find an advanced treatment of landfill leachate. In this thesis, Changsha solid waste landfill leachate treatment plants were studied. Experimental results show:(1) Through the operation of the old plant and water quality we found that:when raw leachate contained5593~11427mg-COD/L and560~847mg-NH3-N/L,the effluent of COD is143~639mg/L, NH3-N was0.98~22.0mg/L.The effluent can only meet to the third discharge limit of landfill leachate(COD<1000mg/L, NH3-N unlimited), without achieving the original design of the plant effluent standards (COD<150mg/L, NH3-N<25mg/L).(2) Through the operation of new plants and water quality we found that:when raw leachate contained4150~14300mg-COD/L and725~2910mg-NH3-N/L,about99.68~99.81%of COD and99.57~99.99%of NH3-N was removed at the dissolved oxygen of1.8~2.9mg/L. The effluent can stably meet to the "Solid Waste Landfill Pollution Control Standards "(GB16889-2008) on the general area of the standard (COD<100mg/L, NH3-N<25mg/L).(3) By the discussion of technology and economic, it is sure that MBR+NF/RO process with many advantages in efficiency, water effects and stability, high degree of automation, simple operation and easy maintenance. Meanwhile, the new plant’s maximum processing capacity of1500m3/d, fully meet the solid waste disposal sites in Changsha City landfill leachate treatment capacity requirements. In addition, the economy is a new-sytle technology suitable for the treatment of Changsha city landfill leachate.Experimental study of this thesis Changsha new solid waste disposal sites and old landfill leachate treatment plant technology, conducted a comprehensive comparison of the economy, it is sure that the new plant MBR+NF/RO combination of process water can be well suited to new " Solid Waste Landfill Pollution Control Standard "(GB16889-2008) on the general regional standards; MBR+NF/RO process has instructional funcation and practical value, and it could be used to treat leachates similar to Changsha landfill site.
