The part of green balls turn up to crack when being dried. The pulverization of greenballs increase the powders to kilns and lead to ring-forming and influencing the stability ofthermal regulation. If the crack balls are too many, it must reduce the palletizing crushingstrength and lead to the quality rejecting. So it is very necessary to increase the crackingtemperature of green pellet and build the reasonable drying system. There are two parts in this study. One part is the experiment of increasing the crackingtemperature of green pellet. The other part is drying simulation and field data analysis. It can indicate these conclusions by means of the experiment of increasing the crackingtemperature of green pellet. The High-pressure stick ground can increase the other strength ofgreen balls, but it produced adverse effect to the cracking temperature of green pellet. Itconfirms the best pelleting time being15min, the best pelleting water content being7%~8%.It can’t meet requirement whether using the sort of binders alone. In the conditions ofproportioning of bentonite A is1.5%and the proportioning of organic binder is0.05%, thecracking temperature of green pellet is above of600℃, shatter strength of green pellet isabove of6times, compression strength of green pellet is above of10N, compression strengthof finished product pellet is above of2500N. By means of Ore phase analysis we can knowthat it can increase the strength by injecting the vermiculite. It confirms the principle of low temperature, air Volume and batchblanke. By the meansof field data analysis, it proves the way to reduce the content of-5mm, finally it makes thegrate speed to be2.3m/min.
