The direct expression which human beings use the natural environment and reform is land use, different levels and methods of use will inevitably produce different effects on land, turn right attached to land, water resource systems and eco-environmental systems have an impact. Study land use change and its water environment, change in land use patterns, and improve the water environment. Sound land use policy and water environmental protection system has a certain practical and theoretical significance. In this study the application of information science related to the theory and quantitative analysis methods, for example, Years of the1997-2007land use change and its environmental impacts of water to carry out empirical research.First of all, define the basic concepts and analysis of basic theory. Elaborate information entropy, the magnitude of changes of land use, speed, level and water environment, water environment evaluation methods and other related theories and concepts, analysis of water in the ecological environment role. Come to three conclusions:(1)From1997to2007.land use diversity index is higher but the balance of the changes in degree and dominance indicates that land use in Wuxi, more and more uneven, showing a clear farmland conversion feature.(2) In Wuxi City, the growth rate of various types of land use according to unused land, transportation land, industrial and residential land, garden plot in turn increases, reducing the sharpest of arable land.(3) From2002to2006, the rate of land-use types was higher than from1997to2001, indicating the period from2002to2006, Wuxi City, adjustment and changes in land use from1997to2001, more frequent.Then, the driving forces of land use change of Wuxi City to conduct principal component analysis. Population growth, urbanization and the growth of GDP in Wuxi, the biggest contribution of land use change reached94.785%, another technological advances in agriculture land-use change in Wuxi City, there are more significant contribution. These factors brought about land-use changes in Wuxi City, thereby affecting the water environment.Furthermore, land use change on the water environment of their analysis of the impact in Wuxi City. Land-use change is not only to reduce its water area in Wuxi City. At the same time a large number of cultivated lands, forest land decreased, construction land increase in impervious layer area increased, so that surface runoff during rainfall increase. Land settlements increased, the concentration of population, the sewage treatment rate is not high, resulting in serious water pollution. The increased use of Population, livestock and poultry farming and fertilizer and pesticides, make river water quality deteriorated. In addition to Liang River, official malfeasance and outside, the total nitrogen content of rivers show the growth trends. Trends in total phosphorus content in the river is more gentle, permanganate index of Maxi Port, Tai Ge Canal, Zhihu Port and Guandu Port show lower trends. But permanganate index of South Tai Ge Ganal, Caoqiao River and Liang River show increase trends. After dimensionless of the population, construction land and river pollution index, found that river pollution index and population, construction sites have the obvious correlation. In addition, the reducing of cultivated and forest land, the increase in Construction sites, make the amount of rainfall infiltration showed a decreasing trend. While the concentration of population and industrial development of groundwater over-consumption lead a sharp reduction of groundwater, leading to land subsidence in Wuxi City.Finally, make relevant policy recommendations. These policy recommendations include improving the water recycle rate and effectively reduce the water demand, reasonable arrangements for the construction land and give priority to the water environment, optimize the industrial structure and transforming economic growth, ground subsidence and improve early warning systems to prevent re-mining of groundwater behavior.
