For unmanned and fewer-people mining of thin seam coal shearer, based on thethin coal seams with complex geological conditions and small operation space,labor-intensive operation of cutting parameter sampling of double demonstrationcutter memory-cutting, the method of single demonstration cutter memory-cutting ispresented. Base on analysis of the mathematical relation among geometric parameters,operation position, attitude parameters, coal seam parameters of shearer and drumposition, the memory-cutting digital model of working face roof during the state ofsingle demonstration cutter is put.Taking the restrictions of mining technology and the adaptability to workingface equipment into account, in order to improve the agreement of memory-cuttingtrack and single demonstration cutter sampling track, the conditions of the singlecutting information converted to bidirectional cutting information is discussed, andthe cutting trajectory planning mathematical model which based on the particle swarmalgorithm is established; planning the cutting trajectory by particle swarmoptimization, giving the memory-cutting trajectory of shearer roof.By the method ofthe cutting trajectory planning simulation of the memory-cutting digital model ofsingle demonstration cutter and Matlab/simulink, results showed that: The maximumerror single demonstration cutter cutting track is0.0219m and meet the requirementsof the practical application of engineering. Study on the valve-start features of theelectromagnetic directional valve and electro-hydraulic proportional direction valve insystem of single demonstration cutter memory-cutting. Simulation of pressure、flowand acceleration of hydraulic cylinder by Automation Studio, results show that theapplication of electro-hydraulic proportional direction valve is better than theelectromagnetic directional valve in memory-cutting system.Based on the randomness of shearer loading, the geometrical nonlinearity ofheight-regulating mechanism and the deviation of single-information collection, theadaptive fuzzy PID control method is put, the roof and floor digital model andadaptive fuzzy PID control strategy of single demonstration cutter roof and floor aregiven, the automatic tracking of shear bidirectional cutting drum height is realized.Using Matlab/Simulink software, the memory cutting curves tracking control ofsingle demonstration cutter memory patterns simulation are carried out, and the errorcurves are given: the uplink and downlink cutting curves tracking error range of control system are respectively-0.0215~+0.0141m and-0.0301~+0.0308m.Thesimulation results: the downlink roof digital conversion algorithm and control systemalgorithm and their comprehensive errors meet the engineering requirements,providing theoretical basis for memory cutting of single demonstration cutter shearer,and having great significance for unmanned and fewer-people mining thin seam coaland improving mine workers’ safety and the efficiency of mining.
