Fire Evacuation Numerical Simulation And Performance-Based Analysis Of Teaching Building

With the rapid development of Chinese advanced education, colleges have cultured alarge number of technical talents at the same time, the hysteretic nature of fire safetyeducation and fire fighting facilities are increasingly remarkable, fire disaster occurssometimes. Teaching buildings are known as the core place of teaching. There are twocharacteristics, the first is its large area and the other one is mass congregation, once therecaught a fire, both personnel safety and public property will suffer heavy losses. Therefore theresearch on teaching building fire safety has important significance. Based on the traditionalfire protection analysis method has limits and security controversy, in the paper, studies on theperformance-based fire evacuation of the No.11teaching building is introduced, the study hasguiding significance to performance-based fire protection design and organizing safeevacuation effectively.The development of fire evacuation at home and abroad is reviewed, also, do thedevelopment of performance-based analysis. Meanwhile fire smoke and evacuationmathematical models are set up and simplified, the theoretical basis of fire evacuation and theperformance-based analysis are referred. FDS+Evac software was used to simulating the fireevacuation and analysis the fire and evacuation data of No.11teaching building, conditionswas changed for more calculations, application performance-based analysis methods wasapplied to evaluate the results of fire smoke and evacuation.By the performance-based evaluation methods it is found that visibility become the mainobstacles of teaching building security evacuation. Once the fire broke out in the hall of theteaching building, reasonable evacuation route and schemes were established and organized toensure people escape from the fire safely. Finally, there are some suggestions andrecommendations for security evacuation.
