Steel sheet pile is a kind of fast, efficient and environmentally friendly new buildingmaterials, with its high strength, easy installation, no welding etc widely used in wharf,levee bank revetment, retaining block sand, dock, cofferdams etc permanent constructionengineering. In the early20thcentury Europe and Japan and other developed countriesproduced Steel sheet pile, rolling technology has also been very mature. Due to ourcountry at present haven’t know the advantages of it, the use of it is less, the production ismore short, but our country is in the high speed development stage, as now people focuson production efficiency, energy conservation and environmental protection, this providesa good opportunity for the steel sheet pile in the use and development in our country.The paper systematically introduces the steel sheet pile production and use presentsituation in domestic and foreign. Based on the achievement of the original, referenceNippon Steel Yawata Iron and Steel Plant production process of the U-section steel sheetpile, according to the Yanshan University rolling laboratory actual conditions to design thepass system, use Pro/E and DEFORM-3D finite element analysis software design newpass system. According to filling discontent, workpiece bending, pass lock inappropriateposition, finished claw opening, and finally got a set of reasonable and suitable passsystem for experiment, and the stress distribution of the change of the rolling force and theelongation of each pass in the rolling process, the direction of flow of the metal and thefocus of analysis.On the basis of finite element simulation, according to the U-section steel sheet pileforming the characteristics of coarse pass K11, pass K10~K8, universal pass K7~K5andpass K5E on the rolling experiment, through the contrast analysis of the simulation resultsand the actual rolling result, the metal flow and filling are achieved good results, andverified the rationality of the pass system for actual production to provide the reference.
