Continuous annealing line is an important part of modern cold-rolled strip steel, andit is consist of many kinds of processing technology together such as strip cleaning,annealing, slow cooling, surface treatment, over time cooling, re-coiling and cutting andso on. It is a kind of advanced annealing process and plays a role in eliminating residualstress and defects, to improve mechanics performance improve of strip steel. But there aretwo outstanding problems existing in the current continuous annealing production:misguiding and transverse buckling. Misguiding is that the strip steel in moving processlost to neutral and deviates from the original movement directionï¼›The strip steelsometimes can appear uncertain direction and different degree of wrinkle calledTransverse buckling. The two points seriously affect the production efficiency, increasethe cost of production, become a problem that is exigent to be solved.This paper is concerned with the research on the major factors that result in the stripsteel deviation and transverse buckling, the mechanism of misguiding, the reason oftransverse buckling and the corrective measure:(1) Analyzed to the reason of the stripsteel deviation on, the deviation rectifying mechanism of the conical roller, a newexplanation was presented: Thinking of the traditional cognitive that component force ofthe centripetal force happening in the roll produce of the ofenrolle can not rectify.Transverse compression stress present in the the strip and the ofenrolle contact produceplays an important role. Confirmed this through the finite element analysis and provide thedeep level mechanics critical condition.(2) I put forward my own explanation analysisafter summarizing the result of former researchers and establish finite element model bythe FE software, MARC. It offers a comprehensive analysis of the strip deviation andtransverse buckling caused the major factors (strip tension, ofenrolle convexity, platformarea length, contact area friction factor and so on.(3) Based on the results of the research,put forward a set of effective model about temperature, ofenrolle shape, strip tension forthe initial wave forms of different strips in practical production. It gives importantreference value to the practical production.
