In belt steel rolling processes, the vibration of hot tandem rolling mill iscomprehensive and common phenomenon. Vibration is easy to accelerate to destroyequipments, increase the cost of production,reduce product quality, yield and economicalbenefit. Therefore, vibration research on hot tandem rolling mill and structureoptimization of rolling mill to improve the vibration is of great practical significance.This paper adopt3454rolling mill as a model, it analyzed separately the modal ofwork roll and backup roll with the finite element analysis software ANSYS and got theinherent frequency and vibration mode diagram and find out method of reducing thevibration. I established the assembly drawing about rolling system with Pro/E, thenanalyzed its stress strain field and contact nonlinear with ANSYS, the last, I got themaximum deformation diagram, maximum bending stress diagram and the maximumcontact stress diagram of rolling system and checked the stiffness and strength of rollingsystem. I established the parametric model of frame with ANSYS, analyzed the modal ofthe frame and got the inherent frequency and vibration mode diagram and analyzed everymode on the rolling mill the influence of vertical vibration. Finally, I analyzed the stressand strain field of the frame, got the maximum deformation diagram and maximumequivalent stress diagram, found out the dangerous point of the frame and checked thestiffness and strength.I conduct multi-objective fuzzy optimization to the weighted coefficient of the frameweight, stiffness and first order natural frequency with the fuzzy similarity scale method inthe fuzzy mathematics. Firstly, I choose optimization of the design variables that is thesize of the frame, constraint condition that is the geometry and performance constraint ofthe frame, the objective function that is the weighted coefficient of frame volume,longitudinal deformation and first-order natural frequency, then optimized the every targetto get the ideal solution, finally, optimized the weighted multi-objective, got the nearestthe weighted coefficient to the ideal solution and analyzed result of the optimization.I analyzed the static strength reliability and sensitivity of the frame. Firstly, I choose the frame optimization design variables as input random variable and define theirdistribution and got the frame maximum equivalent stress, volume, longitudinaldeformation and first-order natural frequency with monte carlo simulation method of thefinite element software ANSYS, analyzed every input variable sensitivity to outputvariable and put forward the improving plan. Finally, I calculated the frame dangerouspoint of static strength reliability with the stress-strength interference theory.
