The moisture content of dewatered sludges in a waste water treatmentplant in Beijing can not smoothly come up to GB standard and which is lessthan80%. The study focus on the sludge dewatering system, analyse thefactors which affect decanter centrifuge’s working effect, conductcommissioning to centrifuge’s parameters, research PAM dosing and twokinds of chemical dosing efficiency, and also disuse PAM prepared system’saccuracy and energy-saving effect.In order to get qualified sludge cake, it’s important to conductcommissioning to the centrifuge and do the data’s relevance analysis. Theresult show that under the premise of filtrate concentration under500mg/L,the order of sludge cake water content’s influencing factor from strong toweak is dosing rate> difference speed> solid load> inlet sludge concentration>sludge volume. According to this result, propose a centrifuge control method forreference.The experiments of sole PAM dosing (according to tendering),amphiprotic&cationic PAM dosing and quicklime&cationic PAM dosingshow that when the sludge organic content higher than70%, the adjustment offlocculant can not get compliance sludge cake even can reduce the watercontent, and the cost for sludge treatment will increase either.Moreover, this paper conduct cost saving and energy control reseach. Do thecheck analysis of PAM dosing system, find out it can be realize to increasecalibration accuracy by increasing calibration time (from3to10) andreducing allowable measured deviation (from5%to3%). Conductcentrifuge’s discontinuous running, realize electrical cost saving of2%,reduce operation cost.In conclusion, the research standardizes centrifuge’s control method, byconduct PAM tendering reduce PAM purchase unit prise, increase PAM preparing accuracy, reduce operation cost by discontinuous running, all ofabove are important to waste water treatment plant, but meanwhile, the papercan also show that when the sludge organic content above70%, it is realy hardto get compliance sludge water content just by flocculant adjustment, it isneeded to conduct other test or adjust biochemical treatment system.
