| Different nations create different food cultures, that’s why food culture has a strong national character and various characteristics. China and Western countries have significant differences and attitudes towards food, there are great disparities in idea, contents, customs and etiquettes of food culture. This paper endeavors to analyze the cultural differences between Chinese and Ukrainian food cultures, and point out that with the development of cross-cultural communication, more integration and more development in food culture will appear. An exchange between China and Western countries helps us to understand the meaning of the culture and its different aspects. That’s why understanding and improving cross-cultural communications becomes more and more important. |
