Even though the tobacco machinery industry of China has achieved great development in recent years, the key tobacco machinery technology is still monopolized by abroad. In allusion to the principle and relative merits of several cigarette-transferring devices including the spider mechanism of HAUNI Company, the cam spacer mechanism of MOLINS Company and the multi-parallel quadrilateral mechanism, a new cigarette-transferring device was designed after analyzing them.The research started with the design and analysis of the new cigarette-transferring device. The mathematical model was established and the technical parameters of the key components were confirmed. Then, the simulation model of the new cigarette-transferring device was established and the rationality of cam spacer was verified, followed by the analysis of the error of stimulation result and calculated value of mathematical model. In addition, after researching the process of negative pressure absorption of cigarette, a computing model of negative pressure braking-area of fluid field was established. Under the comparative analysis of some conditions including several transfer conditions, several surfaces’quality of slot used to adsorb cigarette and different negative pressure, the key parameters and the valuable technical approach used to evaluate the braking effect of negative pressure were confirmed. Consequently, compared to the current devices, the transfer process of the new device was more stable and milder and the structure was simpler. Finally, the aerodynamic noise caused by negative pressure hole was analyzed. The cause of noise and its processing method were discussed. Besides, the distribution of the noise field of the negative pressure hole and its tested-curves were calculated. With the purpose of lowering the noise, a modified structure of transfer device method was proposed.By the method of combining Computational Fluid Dynamics with Classical Fluid Mechanics, the negative pressure braking process of cigarette was analyzed. With the Numerical Acoustic Analysis method, the focusing problem of aerodynamic noise in tobacco machinery industry was analyzed. Meanwhile, the method with important application value provided with guidelines in the field of the control of negative pressure braking and the analysis of negative pressure noise.
