In the COLD ROLLING MILL of TISCO, main function of CPL process control system is communicated with base automation control system and production control system from Ethenet. PCS controls the equipment from the Entry Walking Beam to the Exit Walking Bean. The system give the production setting based on the production requirement, and set it to the base automation system. The function of the PCS is including:Material Tracing, the communication of HMI, collecting the data of the production process, generating all kinds of production reports, and sending the production result to L3.In this thesis, the system dictions of the CPL L2(process computer level) and system function configurations are introduced firstly. At that, the main function modules, such as the communication module LI and L3, the material tracing module, process setting module, which are to be improved are specified. At last, design of the program frames, inner module functions, corresponding database and interfaces of inner communication messages are detailedly illustrated, and program flow charts of main functions are present.CPL process control system in CRM of TISCO have been running well after it’s adopted. It’s very statble with CPU load below40%and network load below30%, running ration above99.5%. It contributes a lot to improve the productive efficiency and product quality, and make it possible to develop subsequent new productions.
