Cast iron bars are in great demand in heavy industry and are widely used in transportation,machine tools,printing,agricultural machinery and other pillar industries.The setting of the billet process para meters is a key link in the production of cast iron bars,unreasonable settings can lead to casting defects such as leakage,breakage,and other surface defects.The existing control technology for casting process parameters of cast iron bar production enterprises is uneven,and there is no complete theoretical system.In order to study the above issues in depth,this paper takes the cas ting process of east iron bar as the research obj ect,studies the control law of casting process parameters and the adaptive setting of casting process parameters,so as to solve the production accidents and casting defects,and provide theoretical guidance for the production enterprises.Using numerical simulation method to study the law of casting control,establishing a horizontal continuous casting model of cast iron bars based on ProCast software,taking the thick ness of the mold outlet shell and the fracture index of the casting as the constraint conditions,the billet process parameters of different profiles are obtained,based on the control variable method to get the casting process parameters,that is,these are nonlinear and strong coupling between throwing speed,draw stop than,throwing cycles and the casting process parameters such as pouring temperature,slab width,a cold strength,two cold strength,and the law of control between them.Aiming at the characteristics of non.linear,strong coupling and non-mathematical model of cast iron bar Casting process parameters control system.Research on adaptive tuning of drawing process parameters using BP and GA-BP neural network algorithms.Based on Matlab software,establish a control model with casting process parameters as input nd casting process parameters as output.The simulation results show that the GA-BP neural network model can be used to adjust the process parameters adaptatively,and the obtained process parameters can be used in the actual production system to realize the horizontal continuous casting of cast iron bars with high quality and efficiency.
