As the mechanization development of the coal mine, more and more mine dust wasproduced, that caused serious environmental problems. In coal mine, combine machinery miningface is the biggest dust source. The concentration of dust, which is often ten or even hundreds oftimes more than the national hygienic standard, seriously endangers the health or even life ofminers. So the control of dust in combine machinery mining face has become one of the biggestdifficulties in coal mine safety work nowadays.According to the relevant standards and requirements, this paper obtains the distribution lawof dust concentration through the in site measurement of the Dongrong mine two fullymechanized working face. Gas-solid two-phase flow theory was used to take a numericalsimulation of the movement of dust when cutting coal in dust fully-mechanized face. And theresults show that, the simulation data was in good agreement with experimental data, and thesuggestions of working face dust prevention were put forward.Through the analysis of cutting coal dust samples wettability, we draw a conclusion thatDongrong two mine dust is a moderately hydrophilic material, then wet dust removal method canbe applied. On the dust sample size dispersity analysis, we obtain the law of different particlesize following in dissolute movement, which provide the basis for choice of dust removalequipment in dust fully-mechanized face.By analyzing the theory of wet type dust removal and the mechanics of spray, the mainfactors that affect atomization and removal efficiency have been found out. Based on thesemethods, the mathematic model of calculating dust removal efficiency with spray has beenestablished. Then the best parameters for dust removing by spray were got with the calculationresults. According to field situation of coal face in Dongrong second coal mine, the system ofdust removing with high pressure spray in combine machinery mining face has been designed,which has been tested to achieve a quite good effect.
