A plow head is a important working mechanism of sliding plough and its loadcharacteristics directly affect planning performance, working reliability and productivity ofplough. So it is significant to research the random load characteristic of the process of slidingplough’s plow head planning coal.Based on coal breaking theory of plow tool, mathematic models of random loads on a plowtool planning pure coal are established by using an approximate normal distribution described bynormal random distribution and its standard correlation function and mathematic models ofrandom loads on a plow tool planning hard parcels are established by using an approximateGamma distribution described by two normal random distributions and their standard correlationfunctions. Random loads characteristics of plow tools planing different hardness, plow tools ofdifferent planning depth, plow tools of different position and plow tools planning differentobjects and the various factors’ influencing trend and extent of planning resistance, feedresistance and lateral resistance are analyzed by using the compiled computer simulationprogram. Based on ANSYS finite element analysis of plow tool planing hard parcels, stress andstrain status of plow tool with instantaneous maximum load is obtained and strengthcharacteristics and damage causes of plow tool are analyzed. Mathematic models of randomloads on plow head are established. The changing regularity of random loads of differentcoal-rock characteristics, different working parameters and different design parameters on plowhead is investigated and the influence of planing hardness, coal seam caving angle, planing depth,plow tool arrangement and plow tool number on plow head’s random loads and plough’sworking performance is analyzed by using MATLAB simulation. Based on these, frequencydomain distribution and power spectrum of random loads on plow head are investigated by usingtheory of stochastic process and probability statistics.The research lays the foundation for mastering the random loads’ characteristics of plowhead’s planing process of sliding plough, investigating planing process of plow head withrandom loads applied on and dynamic performance research on plough.
