| With Domestic living standards’development, consumers prefer more personalized style of the bridal, and because of the rational consumption view of wedding becomes more and more popular, bridal businesses find it is more and more difficult to satisfy the consumers with the dresses of great quality with the low price that the consumers want Following the development of information technology, concept of Mass Customization has been introduced to domestic, especial been used in the field of suits making. Mass Customization has the ability to meet the consumers’ need of personalization and volume production at the same time, when ombining with e-commerce, it is very suitable for sloving the problems in the domestic bridal market.Mass Customization can only work with the modularization of products, but at present, modularization of imformation management only being extensively used in production of garments of steady style, instead of bridal making.This is just led by the contradict between the bridal’s variable styles and the normalization of modularization. Resolving this contradict is the only way can we go on bulinding the Modularized Design System for Bridal orients to E-commerce and Mass Customization. By means of researching the theory of Product Family Architecture which supports the Mass Customization, this paper makes some assumptions of the problems that we may face when we modularized the bridal styles, and solves these problems in theory. With the theoretical results which we’ve got, this papel build a Modularized Database for Bridal. In the process, translations of "Data to Style" and "Style to Data" are done repeatedly in order to examin the theory and the Database. The Modularized Database for Bridal which is built at last, including the rules for modularizing bridal styles and a complete Product Family Architecture for Bridal, provides the theory basis for Modularized Design System for Bridal in the future. |
