This thesis have a systematic study of the influencing factors of the activatedcarbon combined with microwave irradiation technology which used in the removal ofhigh concentration of aniline wastewater, have been studied and also have beenaddnessd discussion of activated carbon dynamics and mechanism. In the absence of any additional oxidant conditions, this thesis examined theinfluence of different microwave power, pH value, the concentration of anilinewastewater, activated carbon dosage and time of the microwave radiation onmicrowave combined with activated carbon technology which used to remove highconcentrations of aniline from wastewater. The results showed that: the higher themicrowave power, the more neutral of the pH value, the lower the concentration of theoriginal aniline, the more dosage of activated carbon and the longer the microwaveirradiation time, the better the removal of aniline from wastewater. The mechanismstudy of activated carbon combined with microwave irradiation technology revealedthat the removal effect had been significantly improved than usedactivated carbon alone. The mechanism of strengthening removal of aniline wasmainly due to microwave radiation causes the temperature rise in activated carbonsystem, which accelerates the activated carbon adsorption of aniline, but not due tomicrowave induced oxidation. In addition, microwave irradiation bring animprovement of the adsorption performance of activated carbon also play a role. This thesis chose the behavior of activated carbon adsorb high concentrations ofaniline from wastewater as the research object, discussed the influencing factors ofadsorption rate that solid adsorbent in solution. Experimental results showed thatactivated carbon adsorption in liquid phase not only occurred the non-polarintermolecular forces, van der waals’ force and hydrogen bonding, but electrostaticforces (Coulomb force) also occurred. Therefore, the adsorption properties of solidabsorbent is not only relevant with surface structure, but also the surface chemicalproperties, in order to improve its adsorption rate, it is have to control the adsorptionconditions. It can be seen from the experiment that activated carbon adsorption ofhigh concentrations of aniline from wastewater should adopt the quasi-second orderkinetic model to fit, the initial rate of adsorption clearly related to temperature.Research of this subject has not only provide a simple and effective method for high concentrations of aniline wastewater treatment, but has a detailed study of actionmechanism and adsorption mechanism. These studies has a guiding significance forremoval of high concentrations of aniline wastewater in the future.
