Construct Cleaner Production Assessment Index System Of Nickel Smelting Industry

Cleaner production as the environmental protection policy of overall prevention has become increasingly accepted by enterprises and governments. Enterprises as the main motive force of economic development, taking advantage of the advanced concepts of cleaner production, the generation of pollution prevention during the whole process from the source of production, production processes, product usage and so on. Therefore, cleaner production is the significant method contributing to achievement of Circular Economy and Sustainable Development.Currently, China has been released Cleaner Production Standard and Guiding Standard of Cleaner Production Assessment Index System, which has played a positive role in facilitating cleaner production in China, however, the cleaner production index of nickel smelting is still blank. China is the biggest country of nickel consume, and also commonly exist some problems of high energy consumption, the large amounts of pollutants in nickel smelting industry. Therefore, it is particularly significant to advance the clean production levels of nickel production industry, reduce the energy consumption of nickel smelting industry and reduce the "three wastes" emissions.This essay is constructing cleaner production assessment index system of Nickel smelting industry based on a research overseas and domestic cleaner production study, the use of AHP method to determine the index weight and choose a reasonable assessment index for nickel smelting industry, building up mathematical model and proposing feasible assessment methods. All those combined with national laws, regulations, industrial policy and industry access conditions to determine the base value of assessment index, as the meanwhile, it also according to cleaner production case studies from well-known large-scale nickel smelting enterprises in China, using the system to conduct application research of arge-scale nickel smelting enterprises, comprehensive assessment the actual cleaner production level status of enterprises, measuring the industry level in which enterprises in the international or domestic, looking for the existence deficiencies of enterprises and the potential significant link of cleaner production, proposing improved direction and measures, all those provides a theoretical basis for enterprises to carry out cleaner production audit. This essay research contributes to some guidance and reference for cleaner production audit of nickel smelting industry.
