Preparation Of Waterborne Epoxy Resin And Used In Rust On Paint

Since the21st century, with environmental protection laws and regulations were becoming more perfect, environment friendly and pollution free water-based paint were becoming more and more attention. Because steel corrosion caused great economy loss every year, research and development of waterborne rusting coating was becoming hot spot of coating area and new trend of anticorrosive paint.The film of epoxy resin coating on steel has excellent adhesive force, compact intermolecular cross-linking, excellent atmospheric exposure and anticorrosive, was suitable film forming matter of waterborne rusting coating. Waterborne epoxy resin was synthetized, matched waterborne epoxy resin curing agent was synthetized, and waterborne rusting coating was prepared. Main work of this paper was divided into three parts:(1)Epoxy resin A was modified by diethanol amine and polyether amine, then a high performance cationic epoxy resin emulsion was prepared. Synthetic process conditions was optimize, influence of rate of charge on emulsion stability and film property was researched.(2)Waterborne epoxy resin curing agent was synthetized with dicarboxylic acid, trithylene tetramine, epoxy resin and end-capping reagent. Synthetic process conditions of acylamino-amine was optimize, influence of end-capping reagent on curing agent properties was researched, pot life of epoxy resin coating was studied, and influence of rate of epoxy resin and curing agent on film property was researched. Experimental result showed that, the mole ratio of epoxy resin emulsion and curing agent was1:1, pot life of epoxy resin coating was4h, film was smooth and transparent, surface dring time was2h with room temperature cured, adhesive force on steel was0level, hardness was2H-3H, impact strength was greater than50cm/kg, the property of film was excellent.(3)A waterborne epoxy resin rusting coating was prepared with epoxy resin emulsion and waterborne epoxy resin curing agent which was prepared in laboratory, antirust pigment padding and kinds of auxiliaries. Antirust pigment padding was selected detailedly. Experimental result showed that, PVC of coating was25%, pigment padding system was composed of iron oxide red, aluminium phosphate, zinc phosphate, talcum powder, film didnot change which was soaked in3%NaCl solution192h, tafel test results showed that it was superior to other pigment padding systems.
